One of the most expensive accidents in the country’s history occurred in Kyiv. The McLaren 650S Spider did not maneuver successfully with a Kia Stonic crossover – the result can be seen in the photo.
The accident happened in the historic Vinogradar area. Judging by the nature of the damage and the position of the cars on the road, the vehicles collided while changing lanes. The McLaren “brushed” its entire left side against the Kia, resulting in damage to the rear bumper, rear fender, side skirt, as well as the front fender and bumper. As for the “Korean,” it has a torn front bumper and a dented front right fender.
Clearly, the McLaren suffered the most in this collision. The situation is compounded by the fact that repairing such a vehicle is quite expensive. Extensive bodywork is expected for it. Hopefully, both cars were insured, not only with auto liability but also with full coverage insurance.
It is noteworthy that the McLaren 650S was produced from 2014 to 2017. At the time of release, the car cost 280,000 US dollars, and today such a supercar is sold on the secondary market for an average of 150,000 to 200,000 dollars.
