In Brovary, at the arms exhibition, the Ukrainian combat robot “Laska” was presented. The unmanned off-road vehicle for the army was created at the Zaporizhzhia-based company “Infocom LTD,” reports Apostrophe.
“Laska” is a small armored vehicle based on a quad bike with a gasoline engine. It can be controlled via Wi-Fi (from a distance of up to 2 km) or operate fully autonomously for a day. The unmanned vehicle is equipped with cameras, a radar, and communication means.
“Laska” is multifunctional and can be both a combat and transport vehicle or conduct the evacuation of the wounded. They can be transported on the flat roof of the unmanned vehicle. In its combat version, “Laska” is equipped with a 7.62 mm PKM machine gun and can provide fire support at the company or battalion level. Currently, the Ukrainian unmanned vehicle is undergoing tests and has already been tested at a tank range. Meanwhile, “Infocom LTD” is also developing a tracked unmanned vehicle “Scorpion”.
