by The Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened access to the vehicle registration database. Now you can check the car online by the registration certificate number. 
Access to the registry is available through the website hsc.gov.ua. It is enough to enter the registration certificate data to find out if it is forged. Information about the car’s make and model, year of registration, body number, and engine capacity is also provided.
Currently, the database only includes vehicles registered or re-registered after 2013. However, this is already beneficial since it allows for precautions when buying a used car.
