by The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to significantly simplify the procedure for obtaining personalized license plates. The draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already been published on the official website, reports ubr.ua. 
Very soon, it will be possible to order personalized car plates without leaving home. It will be enough to register on the website, submit the plate project, and fill out a special form. Personalized plates in Ukraine can consist of a maximum of 7 characters.
Cyrillic and Latin letters, numbers, and even graphic elements are allowed. The cost of three characters is 300 hryvnias plus 90 UAH for each additional character. However, a logo will cost 500 UAH. 
Once the application is sent, it will be checked within two weeks, and another month is allocated for the production of the plate. Then, it will be necessary to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center to re-register the license plates and the technical passport.
In addition, the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will simplify the retention of the plate when changing the car. There will no longer be a need to obtain a certificate from the police, and re-registration will take a maximum of one day.
