Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitsky announced that from September 19, TruCam radars will appear on 17 more road sections. Speed control using these devices will be carried out on the most accident-prone highways. He also published a new map indicating the location of all violation detection devices (new TruCam radars are marked in red there).
In addition, police activity is also signaled by appropriate road signs, and police cars are parked with flashing beacons. Paradoxically, even though the location of speed control points is no secret, drivers continue to violate. Since October 2018, more than 302,000 speeding tickets have been issued.
