The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the creation of access to the infrastructure of charging stations for electric vehicles” as a whole. It was supported by 235 deputies. 
The law aims to provide additional preferences for electric cars. Thus, electric vehicle charging stations, as well as designated parking spaces for them, will be marked with special markings. Moreover, if a gasoline or diesel car occupies this space and prevents the charging of an electric vehicle, the owner faces a fine of 340-510 hryvnias.
By the way, in this regard, we are at the forefront of the planet, because in the USA such fines were introduced only six months ago. Also, to identify electric vehicles, they will be marked with a special label. The new rules come into effect on January 1, 2020.
