A Rare 90s Supercar is Being Sold in Ukraine for 7 Million Hryvnias

As the seller writes in the advertisement, only 42 units of such cars were produced (according to unofficial data – 85 units). It is about the Mercedes-Benz SL73 AMG in the R129 body, which, by the way, became the donor for the Pagani Zonda R hypercar! In particular, it’s about the engine.

The SL73 AMG engine has a volume of 7.3 liters, which develops 525 horsepower and accelerates the roadster to a hundred in 4.8 seconds. Quite impressive for a 90s car, isn’t it?

By the way, this is the most powerful naturally aspirated engine from Mercedes!

Initially, such a car cost almost 200 thousand dollars. However, even now, such a modification is “valued”, as the SL73 AMG R129 is considered a collectible car. This particular unit is estimated by the seller at 220 thousand dollars, which is just under 7 million hryvnias. Have you read about the little-known 90s supercars that still amaze today?
