In Dnipro, a rare retro car, the Packard Super Eight from 1934, has been put up for sale. A substantial amount is being asked for the luxurious convertible – 180 thousand dollars.
For this money, you can buy a Ferrari Portofino or an Audi R8. However, the car is indeed a rare find with history – it was purchased for polar aviator Sigismund Levanevsky for saving the crew of the icebreaker ‘Chelyuskin’.
Moreover, the Packard Super Eight has been restored, although it does not fully match the original, and even its engine is not native. However, it now features modern acoustics and even a DVD player. The Packard also looks very impressive.
