On the Kyiv-Odesa highway, police recorded a record speed of 251 km/h. This was announced by the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police, Oleksiy Biloshitsky. 
The offender turned out to be a Mercedes-Benz S500. Essentially, this is its maximum speed, as the sedan’s limiter is set at 250 km/h. Imagine how fast the Mercedes would go without the limiter.
In this section, there is a speed limit of 110 km/h, meaning it was exceeded by 141 km/h. Notably, the violation was recorded not by cameras, but by patrols with a TruCam radar. Of course, the owner of the Mercedes S500 received a fine, but the amount is only 510 hryvnias. It’s unlikely this will significantly impact his wallet.
