by In the Kyiv region, a Fiat 124 Abarth roadster was spotted. The Italian sports car is a rare guest on our roads, and the model is quite interesting.
The fact is that the Fiat 124 is built on the basis of the Mazda MX-5. This means that it has a very well-tuned chassis. The roadster can be easily distinguished from its Japanese counterpart by the different front-end design.
Additionally, the Fiat 124 is equipped with Italian 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo engines. In the Abarth version, the four-cylinder engine develops 170 hp and allows acceleration to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 232 km/h.
Moreover, the Abarth version has a retuned suspension.
By the way, this roadster was most likely brought from the USA – a significant portion of Fiat 124s were sold there.
