An unusual Toyota Publica from the 70s is driving around Odessa. The compact coupe surprises with a very strange tuning.
Let’s start with the fact that the grille and headlights were taken from a Volga GAZ-24-10. The car has no bumpers, but instead, a lip appeared in the front.
Moreover, this is a real, not a fake rat rod, as the body is already rusted in places. However, it seems the owner isn’t particularly concerned about that.
But in the cabin, a wooden steering wheel is installed. Instead of the original buttons, there is a remote with switches from some electrical device.
We don’t know what’s under the hood of this particular car, but a standard Toyota Publica was equipped with a 59-horsepower 1-liter engine and could reach 140 km/h.
