The number 765 in the name indicates not only the number of coupes built but also the increased power of 765 hp from the 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo. Acceleration to a hundred takes 2.8 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 330 km/h.

The LT abbreviation stands for Long Tail. To improve aerodynamics, the McLaren’s body was lengthened by 57 mm. At the same time, the weight was reduced by 80 kg compared to the base McLaren 720S – down to 1203 kg. This was achieved through the use of carbon and the installation of lightweight seats from the McLaren Senna.
