In Ukraine, new speed control points will appear from November 20. TruCam radars will be installed on 57 new road sections.
As stated by the Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitsky, there will be 186 speed control points across the country with 115 speed detection radars.
It is noteworthy that if previously TruCam radars were mostly installed on highways, now they have decided to combat speed limit violators in cities. Thus, TruCam has appeared for the first time in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi, Sumy, Ternopil, Chernihiv, and other cities.
The number of speed control points has also increased in Lviv, Odessa, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernivtsi. The patrol police still mark all radars on the map, and on the roads, they are indicated by appropriate signs and police cars with flashing lights.
