In Dnipro, the iconic 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS supercar was captured. This very expensive collectible model became an exhibit at the recently opened Old Cars Gallery auto museum.

Ferrari Dino 246 GTS is one of the six exclusive retro cars brought to the museum recently from Europe. They were previously captured on the highway. In fact, Dino is the most valuable specimen, as such a supercar costs 300-500 thousand euros.

Back in the day, Dino was considered the entry-level Ferrari “for the poor.” It was designed as the brand’s most affordable model and named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, Dino, who died at a young age due to illness.

Dino is the brand’s first series-produced mid-engine model (before that, the engine was only at the base of racing Ferraris). Dino Ferrari himself was one of the developers of the V6 for the car. In the Dino 246 version, its displacement is 2.4 liters, and the power is 195 hp.

By modern standards, this is not much, but the Ferrari Dino 246 weighs little – 1280 kg. It accelerates to a hundred in 7.1 seconds and reaches 235 km/h.

A total of only 3761 Ferrari Dino 246s were produced, of which only 1274 were in the GTS version with a removable roof. The elegant design of the supercar was made at the Pininfarina studio.
