A very rare 2005 Ford GT was spotted in Kharkiv. This is only the second Ford GT supercar in Ukraine, and this time a coupe in the limited Heritage Edition version was brought. The cost of such a car can reach (and even exceed) half a million dollars!

The mid-engined supercar Ford GT became the successor of the legendary GT40 model, which won the 24-hour Le Mans race four times. It is featured in the movie ‘Ford v Ferrari.’ Externally, the car resembles its famous predecessor. Jeremy Clarkson also owned such a supercar.

The Ford GT is equipped with a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 from Mustang, with power increased to 550 hp. With a 6-speed manual transmission, the coupe accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 330 km/h. The cost of the Ford GT Heritage at auctions is about 500 thousand dollars.

In total, slightly more than 4,000 Ford GTs were produced in 2005-2006, of which only 343 were in the Heritage Edition. The main distinguishing feature of this version is the paint in the colors of the Gulf Team racing team. It was this GT40 that won in Le Mans in 1968 and 1969.

Recall that another Ford GT is in Kyiv, but it has been going out very rarely recently.

Note that wealthy Ukrainians are increasingly buying supercars in royal blue color.
