by In Ukraine, luxury cars and supercars are being brought in for free customs clearance. Recently, a McLaren 570S was spotted on a car transporter near the Yagodyn border crossing.
Judging by the transit plates, the McLaren supercar arrived from Germany and was recently purchased near Frankfurt. Although it’s a used car, it’s clearly worth more than 100 thousand dollars. And it will be cleared through customs for free.
Recall that the McLaren 570S is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a power output of 570 hp. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 328 km/h.
In principle, McLaren 570S supercars in Ukraine are not that rare. Quite a few of them have been brought in, most of which are salvage cars from the USA.
Interestingly, this is by far not the most expensive car cleared through customs for free. Previously, cars worth up to 8.5 million hryvnias have already been imported.
