Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC put up for sale in Kyiv
We are talking about the flagship version of the C126 series coupe after the facelift. The car is registered in Kyiv and has a mileage of 60,970 km.
The Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC is considered the most prestigious and powerful modification of the two-door S-Class of the W126 generation. It is this version that is in greatest demand among collectors and fans of classic models of the brand.
According to the seller’s description, many years ago the car was brought from Japan as a custom order for one of the Ukrainian politicians. Subsequently, the coupe was used infrequently, and for the last decade it was almost never driven.
Classic S-Class coupe equipped with a V8 engine
Under the hood of the Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC is a naturally aspirated petrol engine M117 with a displacement of 5.5 liters. Its power is 299 hp, and the engine is paired with an automatic transmission.
For the late 1980s, the model had very high dynamic characteristics. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.9 seconds.
The two-door Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC became the pinnacle of development of the coupe based on the S-Class of the W126 generation. Today, well-preserved examples of this model are rare, and cars with low mileage traditionally belong to the most expensive representatives of the classic S-Class on the market.
