At a charity auction during the Grain Ukraine Conference forum, a 1953 GAZ-12 ZIM was sold. It fetched an impressive $100,000, setting a new record for retro cars in Ukraine. This was reported by Auto24. The GAZ-12 ZIM belonged to the impressive collection of Taras Demkura’s cars from Ternopil. He decided to sell his cars and donate the money to the defenders of Ukraine. The buyer of the GAZ-12 ZIM was businessman Boris Shestopalov. The proceeds from the ZIM sale will go towards making a prosthetic for a soldier who lost an arm in the war, as well as to the Superhumans prosthetics center. It is worth noting that this same clinic received money from the sale of Rolls-Royce Freddie Mercury and Andriy Danilko’s cars.
