The Lancia Delta HPE hatchback-coupe from 1994 was spotted in the center of Kyiv. This unremarkable car is actually a rarity, as only 1,909 units were produced.

The second-generation Lancia Delta was mostly produced in a five-door version, while the three-door variant was very rare. It looks sportier and is slightly wider due to its flared fenders.

Since the Lancia Delta HPE was positioned as a hot hatch, it was equipped with only the most powerful engines from the lineup. Specifically, this car has a 2.0-liter engine with 140 hp under the hood, although there was also a 190 hp turbocharged HF version. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 206 km/h. Not impressive by today’s standards, but in the early 90s, even the Golf GTI had 150 hp.

Of course, this Lancia Delta is not as cool as its predecessor in the Integrale version, but it is interesting in its own way.
