In Lviv, an unusual car is for sale — it looks like a limited edition Lamborghini Reventon supercar, but it is homemade. The expensive car was reproduced by a Ukrainian craftsman. This was reported by Focus.
TopGear once wrote about this car. A copy of the Lamborghini Reventon was built by former LAZ constructor Oleg Grytsai, and this is not his first homemade car. The project took 4 years to complete.
The car’s body was made of fiberglass. The wedge-shaped design of the Lamborghini Reventon is well reproduced, and even the coupe doors open upward. The interior features sports seats and climate control.
The Lamborghini Reventon clone is built on first-generation Audi A8 units. It received a 4.2-liter 300-horsepower V8 engine and an automatic transmission. The homemade car can reach 240 km/h.
Of course, the real Lamborghini Reventon is much faster — a coupe with a 650-horsepower V12 engine can reach 340 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
However, the original is much more expensive — from 2007 to 2009, 20 coupes and 15 roadsters of the Lamborghini Reventon were released, priced at $2.1 million each. The clone is being sold for $15,000.
