This VAZ-2102 wagon was purchased in 1973 by a doctor from Irpin with inherited funds. He didn’t know how to drive, so the car was driven to him from Kyiv and placed in the garage. There it remained for half a century with only 80 km mileage.
When this VAZ-2102 was found and cleaned, it turned out to be in perfect condition. It didn’t rust, the interior is like new, and the engine starts. The car still has its original tires and a set of tools, and even the wheel caps and mirrors were never installed.
This is the second similar discovery in recent times. Recently, VAZ-2106 from 1991 with zero mileage was also found.
