Design of the MG Marvel R
The new MG Marvel R is a 4.67-meter crossover with an interesting appearance. Its front end with a pointed nose and thin diode optics resembles the Ferrari Purosangue, but it’s worth noting that the MG appeared two years earlier. The retractable door handles and standard 19-inch wheels also catch the eye.
Interior and Equipment of the MG Marvel R
All MG Marvel R models in Ukraine come with leather interiors, and the seats are equipped with electric adjustment and heating. Of course, the crossover has a virtual dashboard, and the tilt central panel features a massive 19.4-inch portrait touchscreen, which is larger than that of a Tesla, by the way.
The trunk volume of the electric crossover is 357-1396 liters, and the rear-wheel-drive version additionally has a front compartment of 150 liters. The trunk lid is electrically powered.
Overall, the MG Marvel R’s equipment is very rich for its price. The basic Lux version for 1.7 million hryvnias includes keyless access, an electric package, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic roof, 360-degree cameras, and wireless smartphone charging.
Additionally, a set of modern safety systems is provided – adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition.
Specifications of the MG Marvel R 2023
The MG Marvel R electric car is offered in two versions. The rear-wheel-drive variant is equipped with two motors with a total output of 177 hp. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h.
The all-wheel-drive MG Marvel R Performance has three motors, collectively producing 284 hp. This crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and is only slightly more expensive at 1.81 million hryvnias.
Both variants feature a 70 kWh battery. The range is 402 km for the 177 hp version and 370 km for the 284 hp version. Fast charging to 80% is possible in 43 minutes. Additionally, there is a V2L function, meaning various electrical devices can be powered from the car.
