This year, Mercedes-Benz has prepared a real gift for G-Class fans – a limited series called Stronger Than The 1980s. Only 460 units will be produced, and most of them will go to the American market. This is an overt stylization of the first “boxy” W460 generation models that appeared back in the 80s.
The features are immediately recognizable: black bumpers and underbody protection, orange “turn signals”, vintage rims with a 90s spirit, a roof rack and a spare tire cover made of leatherette. Even the color palette is chosen to reference the classics. Inside – expensive Nappa leather combined with houndstooth fabric, creating a unique retro spirit.
Under the hood – modernity: a diesel G 450 d with a 3.0-liter engine producing 367 hp. This is a combination of a legendary image and modern technology.
The most interesting thing for us is that due to insane global demand, the Ukrainian market was allocated a quota of just 1 unit. And now this green specimen has already arrived at the official Mercedes-Benz dealer. A unique car for true connoisseurs – this “G-Wagen” is the only one in Ukraine.
