Ford Escort RS Cosworth appeared even before the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and Subaru Impreza STI became popular. Like these models, it is a production version of a rally car. Only 7,145 of these sports cars were produced, and now their price can easily exceed $100,000.
The charged Ford Escort hatchback is equipped with a 2.0-liter 227-horsepower turbo engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The all-wheel-drive car accelerates to one hundred in 5.7 seconds and reaches 232 km/h.
You can recognize the Ford Escort RS Cosworth by its giant spoiler, widened fenders, body kit, and air intakes on the hood. Recaro sports seats are installed in the interior.
This particular car belongs to the limited-edition Monte Carlo version in a special Jewel Violet color and with unique 16-inch wheels. Only 200 of such hatchbacks were made.
By the way, the owner of these cars also has a 90s Subaru Impreza STI, not just any, but an extremely rare coupe.
