Legendary Ferrari Testarossa from the 80s brought to Ukraine (video) en

This week the automotive community of Ukraine is buzzing with news: the iconic Ferrari Testarossa has been brought, one of the most recognizable supercars of the 80s. The red sports car, a Turbo fan favorite, with its distinctive profile and 12-cylinder engine has already caught the attention of Ukrainian car enthusiasts. It is believed to be the first Testarossa to enter Ukraine (currently in Kyiv). However, history tells a different story. In 1988, the well-known Ukrainian footballer Oleh Blokhin, who then moved from Kyiv’s Dynamo to Italy’s Juventus, was gifted a Ferrari Testarossa in honor of his transfer. Blokhin still owns this sports car and, as he confessed in an interview, the car is kept in his garage in Turin, where the former footballer lives. Unfortunately, due to the condition of Ukrainian roads, he never dared to bring this luxury car to his homeland – a fact recently reminded by the blogger Roma Urraco. Under the hood of the Ferrari Testarossa is a powerful 4.9-liter flat 12-cylinder engine that produced between 370 to 390 horsepower in different years. The mid-engine coupe is capable of reaching speeds of up to 290 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 in 5.7-6 seconds. This car is painted in the iconic red color Rosso Corsa and features a stylish brown interior, emphasizing its classic yet timeless look. The Ferrari Testarossa, produced from 1984 to 1991, is one of the most iconic models of the company and the main rival of the Lamborghini Countach. A total of 7177 units were produced, and today the average price of this legendary coupe is around $120-150,000.
