The Japanese company Renoca has taken on the retro-tuning of various Toyota models. The cars are modified in the spirit of the 1970s, resulting in very original outcomes.
In particular, the Toyota Hiace van receives a black plastic grille and round headlights in the style of the 1977 model. The front bumper is also changed, and vintage wheels are fitted. The cost of such a bus is $28,400.
It’s not just about the Hiace. For example, the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 from Renoca received a front in the style of the 60th model, and the old Toyota Prado resembles the 70-series Land Cruiser. Used cars are purchased for conversion, so the SUVs turn out to be cheaper than the Hiace.
By the way, retro tuning is popular not only in Japan. For example, a Pobeda is sold in Kyiv, created on the base of a modern Mercedes CL500.
