by The crossbreeding of a Zaporozhets and a sporty Porsche has come to an end. Last spring in Zhytomyr, they began converting a Porsche Boxster into a Zaporozhets, and after many long months, the project is nearing its logical completion.
One can only imagine how much effort and almost jewelry-like work was required to crossbreed a ZAZ 968 and a Porsche. After all, it was initially planned to retain the look and feel of the ZAZ “soapbox,” but keep the interior from the Porsche.
“Stretching” the technical stuffing of the German sports car onto the body of the Zaporozhets turned out to be difficult, but the game was worth the candle ignition.
As a result of long and exhausting modifications (cutting here, welding there), the “Porscher” turned out to be very harmonious in appearance, comfortable in motion, and quick in acceleration. By the way, the power is about 500 horsepower.
And although the dynamics have not been tested yet, according to the author of the channel Jeep Monsters, the sensation of acceleration to a hundred is less than 6 seconds. That is, when starting from a traffic light, one can leave many foreign cars behind.
The cost of the hybridization or even mutation of ZAZ and Porsche – the story is silent about. Considering the many modifications, we think the total amount accumulated is significant. But it’s cool indeed!
