Suzuki unveiled the Jimny Gozel Outdoor concept at the owners’ festival in Japan
Suzuki has announced a special version of the Jimny off-roader called the Gozel Outdoor Concept. This vehicle will be shown for the first time at the Jimny owners’ festival in Japan, named JimnySunlight 2026. A new accessory package, Craggy Style, will also be presented at the event.
Eight years after debut: Jimny remains a favorite
Eight years have passed since the debut of the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny, but this off-roader remains a favorite among off-road enthusiasts worldwide. To support this popularity, Suzuki will bring a modified version to the JimnySunlight 2026 event in Japan, using the show to test demand for future factory updates.
Jimny Sierra Gozel Outdoor concept: details and features
The concept is named the Jimny Sierra Gozel Outdoor Concept. It is equipped with a special body kit from AWIN, a subsidiary of one of the partners that produces factory accessories for Suzuki.
Changes compared to the standard Jimny Sierra are focused on the front end. The vehicle features an aluminum-look insert on the bumper and a more pronounced skid plate with red accents. The off-roader also has a honeycomb grille with the Suzuki logo, red mud flaps, and a metal insert on the side sills.
According to the automaker, the kit is still in the prototype stage and is not available for purchase. The goal of the presentation is to gather real feedback from Jimny owners, which could influence the design of future accessories. In other words, Suzuki may launch the Gozel Outdoor kit into production depending on public reaction.
Craggy Style package for the five-door Jimny Nomade
The event will also feature the five-door Jimny Nomade equipped with the “Craggy Style” kit. This is a dealer-installed accessory package. It includes a black Suzuki emblem, a skid plate and side sills with an aluminum look, a flat roof rack, unique 15-inch alloy wheels, yellow fog lights, protective door handle covers, and a spare tire cover.
The Craggy Style kit is already on sale in Japan for ¥404,030 (approximately $2,500). Other options from the official accessory catalog for the Jimny Nomade include the Rhino Style, Urban Edge Style, Nostalgic Line Style, and Metal Style packages.
JimnySunlight 2026 festival: date and location
The “Jimnysunlight 2026 – 5th Anniversary” event will take place on June 14 at Yamanakako Koryu Plaza Kirara, a lakeside area in Yamanashi Prefecture offering stunning views of Mount Fuji. At the event, Suzuki will be present alongside numerous companies specializing in Jimny tuning and accessories.
