YouTube Channel Owners Arrested on Charges of Causing Over $40,000 in Damages to a Formula 1 Car

Three Streamers Detained for Damaging an F1 Show Car

During the British Grand Prix, police detained three famous British streamers after one of them allegedly damaged a display Formula 1 car. The incident occurred on July 4th during a fan event. Estimated damages are around 30 thousand pounds sterling.

A viral video shows one of the streamers, named Chazza, approaching a pink show car, placing his foot on a carbon fiber body part, followed by a distinct cracking sound. Despite this, he continues his attempts to get into the cockpit. Police detained three men but released them after 15 hours without pressing charges.

Reaction from the Incident’s Participants

After being released, one of the streamers, AngryGinge, posted a video on TikTok expressing his outrage at the situation. He noted that they were detained merely for watching someone get into the car.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police confirmed that after a thorough investigation, all three men were released with no further action. At the same time, it is worth noting that while F1 cars withstand extreme loads during races, they are not designed for direct physical intervention by unauthorized individuals. This case once again highlights the importance of adhering to safety rules during public events.
