Driver crashes into Acura from behind, then his own car hits him in a bizarre incident in Las Vegas

Strange accident in Las Vegas

A video circulating on social media shows an unusual accident in Las Vegas. After colliding with an Acura, the Honda driver exits his car in a state of shock. He tries to close the door but fails to notice that his car starts rolling backward. The vehicle crosses the lane, drives over a divider, and only stops in the bushes on the other side of the road.

The strangest part is that the driver appears to be struck by his own car during this chaotic movement. The footage shows the man falling to the ground as the Honda passes by him. Fortunately, he later gets up and moves away from the roadway.

“The driver seems confused and disoriented. He exits the car and walks back, attempting to close the door as he goes.”

Aftermath of the incident

The front of the Honda sustained serious damage: the airbag deployed, the hood was crumpled, and the bumper was smashed. Stains of technical fluids, likely oil and coolant, were left on the road. Other drivers managed to avoid colliding with the rolling car.

The possible reasons for the driver’s behavior remain unclear. It cannot be ruled out that he had a medical emergency or was under severe stress after the crash. Importantly, no one involved was seriously injured, and the incident did not cause additional accidents.

This case serves as another reminder of how unpredictable road situations can be. Even experienced drivers sometimes find themselves in difficult circumstances, and technical malfunctions can further complicate an already stressful post-collision situation. It is especially worth noting how quickly a routine accident can escalate into a dangerous chain of events if those involved are in a state of shock.
