The Corvette driver rolled over several times, sustaining serious injuries, while his female passenger escaped with minor injuries.
The other race participant, who was driving the Mustang, initially stopped after the accident but then fled the scene. Police found him at home. Both cars were confiscated, and the drivers are facing serious legal consequences, including hefty fines.
