Law enforcement representatives called such driving “an invitation to disaster” and stopped the violator. The man was issued a ticket for extreme speeding and for not having an insurance policy.
The police emphasized that there are no valid reasons for driving at speeds over 160 km/h, as it directly threatens lives. Fortunately, this incident resulted in no casualties.
According to local law, such a violation carries a fine of up to $1,000, two penalty points, and a possible one-month license suspension. The lack of insurance can cost another $500 and the driver’s license.
However, in this case, the fine exceeded $2,700, which may indicate additional violations. Although, considering the car’s brand, there are no doubts about the driver’s solvency.
