The new Volkswagen T-Cross 2019 has finally been presented. The smallest Volkswagen crossover was simultaneously unveiled in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and São Paulo.
The model will go on sale from January at a price starting from 18 thousand euros. Its competitors will be the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, and Ford EcoSport.
Volkswagen T-Cross 2019 Design
The compact Volkswagen crossover measures 4107 mm in length, 1760 mm in width, and 1558 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2564 mm.
It is built on the modular MQB-A0 platform, just like the 2018 Volkswagen Polo hatchback.
The car’s design is in the spirit of the older Volkswagen Touareg and Tiguan. The crossover features a wide radiator grille, elongated headlights, and flared wheel arches, while the sides are decorated with stampings. You can also opt for the R-Line package with body kits and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Interior and Equipment of Volkswagen T-Cross 2019
Inside the Volkswagen T-Cross, the virtual dashboard and unique LED backlighting of the front panel catch the eye.
There is also a 6.5-inch touchscreen multimedia system. The rear seats are equipped with horizontal adjustment – they can be moved back by 140 mm. Depending on their position, the trunk volume is 385-455 liters, which is a decent amount for such a compact car. With the seats folded, it provides 1281 liters.
