Pope Francis has received a new car, and it’s quite inexpensive. The Pontiff will be driving not a G-Class or any other premium car, but a new Duster.
The Popemobile was developed by the Romanian tuning studio Romturingia. The Duster received the traditional glass dome, and its clearance has been slightly reduced. For the Pope, a more comfortable rear seat upholstered in leather has been installed inside.
The new Dacia Duster is perfectly suited for the role of the Popemobile for Francis, as the Pontiff does not love luxury. At one point, he even sold the supercar Lamborghini that was gifted to him.
