The Armed Forces of Ukraine received brand-new off-road buses of Ukrainian development

Three Torsus Praetorian buses have been handed over to the Ukrainian army. Two of them will serve in Kyiv, and another one in Rivne.

The Torsus Praetorian off-road buses were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for free use. This was announced by the founder of the manufacturing company, Vakhtang Dzhukashvili. It should be noted that Torsus was created by a Ukrainian team but is manufactured in Slovakia.

The Torsus Praetorian bus is made for the harshest conditions. It has all-wheel drive, and the ground clearance reaches 389 mm. It’s not afraid of mud and can ford 90-centimeter streams. The 240-horsepower MAN turbo diesel engine allows it to reach 117 km/h.

In addition to the standard 36-seat version, there is a medical variant for 12 stretchers. The body made of composite materials doesn’t rust.

Torsus Praetorian buses have been used in Ukraine before. In particular, several buses were purchased by the border guards and the National Guard.
