Thought the new M5 was fast? Look at this model – it will impress even more

Power of the new BMW M5 by Manhart

The German tuner Manhart has significantly increased the power of the new BMW M5, which already had impressive specifications. The standard version of the car is equipped with a hybrid powertrain featuring a 4.4-liter V8 engine with two turbochargers, producing 717 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. However, Manhart installed new turbochargers and its own MHtronik powerbox module, increasing the power to 897 hp and the torque to 1200 Nm.

Additionally, the car received an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable valves and sport catalysts. Although the exact acceleration figures have not been disclosed, this version is undoubtedly significantly faster than the production model.

Additional upgrades and options

Manhart also offers the MH5 900E package, which includes lowering springs, and as an option – the KW Variant 4 suspension. All cars in this series come with standard carbon-ceramic brakes from BMW M, but customers can choose other aftermarket solutions.

Exterior and design

Besides technical improvements, the M5 received new forged wheels sized 22×10.5 at the front and 22×11 at the rear, shod in 295/30 and 315/30 tires respectively. Options with smaller 21×10.5 front wheels and larger 22×11.5 rear wheels with 285/35 and 305/30 tires are also available.

The exterior is complemented by carbon fiber parts: a new spoiler, canards, a diffuser, and side skirts. Additionally, special champagne-colored decals have been applied, which, however, may not be to everyone’s taste.

These modifications make the BMW M5 even more exclusive and high-performing, demonstrating how far one can go in tuning even such already powerful production cars. Manhart continues to reinforce its reputation as a BMW preparation expert, offering solutions that combine technological innovation with stunning design.
