You have never experienced such a level of comfort in the back seat of a Lexus

Updated Lexus LM500h: More Comfort for Passengers

Lexus has introduced an updated version of its premium minivan, the LM500h, which remains unavailable for the American market. Externally, the car has not changed, but engineers have made a number of improvements to the interior, making the ride even more comfortable for passengers.

Update Details

One of the key changes was improved sound insulation. Additional materials for absorbing vibrations and sound have been installed near the rear wheels and tailgate, making the cabin significantly quieter. In the four-seater Executive version, the door control button has been moved from the ceiling to the central console between the seats.

This simple change allows passengers to control the doors without getting up from their seats

A special compartment for smartphones and small items has also appeared, and new lighting additionally illuminates the area near the doors in the dark. Both trim levels – Executive and Version L – have received brighter interior lighting with adjustable intensity.

Technical Features

The hybrid powertrain remains unchanged – a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine combined with two electric motors produces 366 hp. The updated model is already available for order in Japan from August, with the Executive version having become slightly more expensive. It is expected that similar updates will soon appear in other regions.

These changes may seem minor, but they make the LM500h even more passenger-oriented, which fully corresponds to the concept of a premium minivan. The attention to detail is particularly impressive – even such small things as additional lighting or a more convenient button significantly increase the level of comfort.
