Update: Alfa Romeo designers are not known for conservatism, and judging by these fresh images, they don’t plan to change that. What you see in these drawings is how the new Stelvio will look.
These are the patent images of the Italian crossover, and they perfectly match the heavily camouflaged prototype we spotted earlier this year, from the narrow headlights to the oval-shaped taillights that echo the shape of the front end, creating a consistent design theme throughout.
Additionally:
It’s important to know that patent images rarely convey the true appeal of a car in real life. This is especially noticeable in the side view, where the drawings cannot accurately depict the actual curves of the front and rear, making the overhangs appear larger than they really are. However, they provide a clear overview of the design, which is missing in prototypes.
The style of the new Stelvio is significantly more aggressive and advanced compared to the more restrained current-generation model. It retains familiar features, such as a darkened roof and part of the C-pillar.

The Scoop On The Stelvio
is preparing to introduce the second generation of the Stelvio, and we’re finally getting our first look at the actual prototype. Spotted during testing in Europe, the prototype gives us a glimpse of what to expect, with a debut planned for later this year before its market launch in 2026. The new Stelvio, which will arrive in America as a 2026 or 2027 model year, promises to be completely revamped, offering both fully electric and hybrid engine options.
