From March 10 to 14, the Robominibus robotic bus was tested in Barcelona, which circulated the streets of the city. This driverless shuttle operated on a circular route and had four stops where passengers had the opportunity to use the innovative service. This project was introduced by WeRide – a global leader in autonomous driving, jointly with Renault Group, Beti, and Masif. This was the first test run of this level four autonomous shuttle in Spain.
In January 2025, WeRide announced the launch of tests of its driverless buses in Europe. They first appeared in Switzerland – at Zurich airport, and later – in France, in the Drome region.
