Audi Q3: From the Base Version to the Premium Trim
The new Audi Q3 in the base “Basis” trim starts from €44,600 (approximately $51,800) in Germany. This version is equipped with 17-inch wheels, robust tires, and fabric seat upholstery. However, fully-equipped models with additional options can cost up to €30,000 ($35,000) more.
The base Q3 looks rather modest compared to the promotional photos. The standard color is Arkona White, and the wheels look more utilitarian than sporty. However, even this version features LED headlights and a digital instrument cluster with an 11.9-inch screen.
Technical Features
The base model received a 1.5-liter TFSI gasoline engine with 148 horsepower, which is paired with a 7-speed S Tronic transmission. The drive is only for the front wheels. For those looking for more power, a 2.0-liter engine with 262 horsepower and the quattro all-wheel drive system is available.
A fully-equipped Q3 version with all options can cost up to €74,945 (approximately $87,000)
The Difference Between Base and Top
The premium version differs not only in its more powerful engine but also in the S Line sport package, which includes more aggressive bumpers, a larger radiator grille, and 20-inch wheels. The interior features leather seats, heating, three-zone climate control, and a premium Sonos audio system.
The updated Audi Q3 is already available for configuration on European websites, while in the US it is only expected in the 2026 model year. Interestingly, even in the base version, the car retains key technologies, such as the digital instrument cluster, making it quite attractive for buyers looking for a balance between price and quality.
