The updated Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has received a major facelift focusing on technology, lighting effects, and personalization. The exterior changes are not radical but noticeable in details that emphasize the model’s status. This is reported by Mercedes-Benz.

The model has received a larger radiator grille, more complex light graphics, and new decorative elements with illumination. In particular, illuminated emblems, a lit-up grille surround, and even a luminous brand emblem on the hood are available in certain markets. The lighting units are complemented by the signature three-pointed stars.

Among the novelties are forged wheel rims with a “floating” Mercedes-Benz emblem: the logo remains in a vertical position regardless of wheel movement. Some rim variants have received a mirror-chrome finish.
The updates are focused not on changing the body shape but on visual expressiveness. The brand calls this facelift the most extensive in the model’s history.
Updated Maybach S-Class interior: MB.OS, AI, and comfort

The interior has been transformed into a “lounge zone.” The Superscreen system has received new Maybach graphics, added wood trim options, and new lighting scenarios. An interior variant without genuine leather, featuring textile and synthetic materials, has appeared.
The key innovation is the new MB.OS operating system with artificial intelligence support. It responds to voice commands, adapts to the driver’s habits, suggests routes, and automatically adjusts the climate.

The main focus is on the rear row. The seats recline like in business class on an airplane, the doors can open automatically, and the center console includes a refrigerator and silver-plated champagne flutes.
The suspension reads the road ahead and memorizes road surface imperfections for subsequent adaptation.

The engine lineup includes electrified inline-six and V8 units, as well as a V12. The V8 produces 530 hp plus 23 hp from the electric motor. The V12 develops 603 hp and accelerates the sedan to 100 km/h in 4 seconds.
The hybrid version with a 3.0-liter engine and an electric motor has a total output of 443 hp and is capable of traveling over 96 km on electric power.
