Maserati has introduced a new special edition of its Grecale crossover called Cristallo. Its release is timed to coincide with the passing of the Olympic torch near the company’s plant in Modena.
Inspiration and Design
The car draws inspiration from Monte Cristallo mountain in the Dolomites. The main hallmark of the special series is the exclusive Azzurro Aureo paint shade.
This is a place where matter and light meet with almost sculptural precision, creating an aesthetic defined by balance and elegance.
This color combines a blue base with golden mica flakes, allowing the car to change its shade from blue to green depending on the lighting. The golden glints symbolize Olympic gold medals.
Exterior and Interior Trim
In addition to the paint, the model received a radiator grille with Azzurro Aureo-colored inserts, 21-inch wheels, self-centering hub caps, and golden valves with the Maserati logo.
The interior features Ghiaccio (Ice) leather, exclusive trim details, special floor mats, and lights that project the trident logo onto the ground.
Available Modifications
The special Cristallo version is available to order in three variants:
Modena: equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 325 hp.
Trofeo: features a 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno engine with 523 hp.
Folgore: a fully electric version with two motors and all-wheel drive, with a total power output of 542 hp.
