Togg T10F Premiere in Munich
The Turkish manufacturer Togg presented the production version of the T10F electric fastback at the auto show in Munich. This event was symbolic, as the company simultaneously announced the start of sales for both the T10F and the T10X model on the German market this very month.
Design and Exterior
The production model is almost identical to the prototype shown at CES: a five-door liftback with a somewhat wagon-like design. The front features a fully enclosed radiator grille framed by LED headlights. Below are large air intakes and bright daytime running lights.
The car’s profile is characterized by streamlined shapes, an optional black roof, and wheel diameters ranging from 17 to 19 inches. The drag coefficient is 0.24.
Dimensions and Comparison
The total length of the T10F reaches 190.2 inches (4830 mm), with a wheelbase of 113.8 inches (2890 mm). For comparison, the model is 4.3 inches (110 mm) longer than the Tesla Model 3, but has only a 0.6-inch (15 mm) longer wheelbase.
Interior and Technology
The cabin is equipped with a panoramic display combining a 12-inch digital instrument panel and a 29-inch infotainment system. Below is an additional 8-inch screen with aviation-style control elements. Standard equipment includes a six-speaker audio system, dual-zone climate control, and a trunk volume of 17.8 cubic feet (505 liters).
More expensive versions offer leatherette upholstery, wireless smartphone charging, a premium 12-speaker Meridian audio system, heated front and rear seats, and an ambient lighting system.
Safety Systems
Standard equipment includes advanced driver assistance systems: emergency braking, collision warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, front and rear parking sensors, high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assist.
Engines and Range
Most trims receive a rear electric motor with an output of 214 hp (160 kW) and torque of 258 lb-ft (350 Nm). Two battery options are available: a 52.4 kWh battery with a range of up to 217 miles (350 km) WLTP, and an 88.5 kWh battery providing up to 387 miles (623 km). Acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes 7.2 seconds. Charging from 20% to 80% at a 180 kW fast-charging station will take 28 minutes.
For those seeking more dynamics, an all-wheel-drive V2 AWD version is offered with two motors producing a combined 429 hp (320 kW) and torque of 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). It accelerates to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds, but the range is reduced to 325 miles (523 km).
The appearance of Togg on the European market, especially in Germany, could be an important step for the Turkish auto industry, demonstrating the ability to compete with Western manufacturers not only on price but also on technology and design. It could also contribute to the development of electric vehicle infrastructure in regions where traditional brands dominate.
