Tesla adds vegan leather to the interior of Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla interiors have always been characterized by minimalism and the absence of unnecessary details. However, the company is now taking a small step toward a more premium design. The new vegan leather, installed on the dashboard panel, gives the interior a softer and more sophisticated look.

This feature is located behind the steering wheel and the central multimedia screen, replacing the standard textile covering. While this is not a radical change, such updates are rare for Tesla. It’s worth noting that vegan leather was already available for the Model Y Launch Series, but now it is being offered for all Model 3 (2024+) and Model Y (2025+) vehicles.

Favorable leasing terms

In addition to the interior upgrade, Tesla has also introduced favorable leasing terms for the Model Y in the U.S. For example, you can lease the Long Range RWD for $491 per month (36 months, 10,000 miles per year) with no down payment. Depending on the state, the price may drop to $400 thanks to government incentives.

For those who prefer financing, Tesla offers a 1.99% APR rate on the Long Range All-Wheel Drive, but with the condition of a 15% down payment.

These changes show that Tesla is gradually adding more comfort to its vehicles without losing its signature minimalism. Combined with the accessible purchasing terms, this could make the Model 3 and Model Y even more attractive to buyers.
