Incident at O’Hare Airport: DoorDash driver enters restricted area
In Chicago, at one of the busiest airports in the world—O’Hare—a strange incident occurred. A lost DoorDash delivery driver managed to drive through secured zones and ended up on airport property. According to reports, he drove several miles along internal and restricted roads before being stopped near a United Airlines aircraft at Gate C16.
Police did not press charges, as it is believed to have been an accidental mistake. However, the incident raised serious questions about airport security. Airport representatives stated that the event did not disrupt airport operations, but the situation could have been much more serious.
“There were no operational disruptions or security-related incidents,” reported the Chicago Department of Aviation.
