Stuck in the wilderness: Jeep pulled out by a helicopter (photo) en

The cooler the jeep, the further you have to run after the tractor – everyone knows that. But sometimes, instead of the tractor, even a helicopter comes to the rescue. That’s exactly what happened recently in Alaska.

An American on an old Jeep Grand Cherokee set off on an off-road trip – he wanted to see the Knik Glacier. The route is considered not the most difficult, but the frame SUV got stuck.

It happened in the wilderness, 25 km from the town of Butte – too far for a tractor. So when the Jeep driver called for help, the rescuers arrived by Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

The helicopter pulled out the SUV and transferred it to solid ground. However, now the Jeep owner must pay $8250 for its rescue.
