Design of Land Rover Defender 2020
The Land Rover Defender 2020 debuted in both the short three-door version 90 and the five-door version 110. It has a bright angular design and offers extensive personalization options. Wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches in diameter are available.
The SUV is built on a new platform and no longer has a frame, with an entirely independent suspension. However, it is still very capable off-road.
Interior and Equipment of Land Rover Defender 2020
The interior of the Land Rover Defender is no longer as spartan as before. It includes a virtual instrument panel, a touchscreen, and a heads-up display. Interestingly, the Defender 90 has a three-seat front row, whereas the Defender 110 can be a seven-seater.
Available options include adaptive cruise control, automatic braking systems, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and driver fatigue monitoring. There are also 360-degree cameras with a “transparent” hood feature.
Specifications of Land Rover Defender 2020
The engine lineup of the Land Rover Defender 2020 is broader than ever. It offers a choice of gasoline turbo engines with 2.0 L (300 hp) and 3.0 L (400 hp), as well as 2.0 L turbo diesel engines with 200 and 240 hp. The most powerful Defender accelerates to a hundred in 6.1 seconds.
The SUV comes with all-wheel drive with a low range, central, and rear lockable differentials. You can also choose the Configurable Terrain Response system for different types of terrains and the All-Terrain Progress Control. The ground clearance of the Land Rover Defender is 291 mm, with an approach angle of 38° and a departure angle of 40°. It can tow a 3.7-ton trailer and ford water up to 90 cm deep.
