The place for the presentation was not chosen by chance. The new Toyota GR Super Sport will participate in Le Mans, and from 2021, the rules dictate that the sports prototype must have a production version. By the way, the same path was followed by Peugeot – they are also preparing a powerful sports model.
It is known that the first Toyota supercar will receive a hybrid setup.
The 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine and electric motor develop a total of about 1000 hp. Developers also promise that the car will be lightweight, and the photos show advanced aerodynamics.
