A new Ferrari SF90 Stradale was presented in Italy. It is the most powerful and fastest supercar in Ferrari’s history. It was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Scuderia Ferrari team.
Interestingly, the SF90 Stradale is not the successor to LaFerrari, as an even more extreme model will appear later. Nevertheless, the newcomer is faster.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale received a hybrid system consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 780 hp and three electric motors, collectively producing 220 hp. The combined power is exactly one thousand horsepower.
The Ferrari supercar accelerates to a hundred in just 2.5 seconds and up to 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Its maximum speed exceeds 340 km/h. At the factory track in Fiorano, the car set a lap record.
At the same time, it can travel up to 25 km in electric mode.
A new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission was developed for the SF90. Moreover, the coupe is all-wheel drive, as two electric motors are installed on the front axle.
With its silhouette, the SF90 Stradale slightly resembles LaFerrari, although you can notice features of the brand’s new style like the pointed front end and narrow LED headlights. However, the rear window is very modest.
Thanks to the use of carbon, the Ferrari hybrid weighs only 1570 kg. Moreover, the car has excellent aerodynamics: the downforce at 250 km/h is 390 kg.
In the interior, the first fully digital dashboard in Ferrari’s history draws attention. Additionally, some buttons on the steering wheel and front panel are touch-sensitive.
