In Japan, the new Nissan Ariya was presented. Nissan’s first electric crossover will go on sale in a year, starting at 46 thousand dollars.
The Nissan Ariya electric car is not much different from the pre-production concept car. It has a sloping coupe-like roof and a high window line, and the thin curved headlights are LED.
Inside, a 12.3-inch virtual dashboard is paired with a touchscreen of the same size.
The trunk volume is 467 liters in the front-wheel-drive version and 413 liters in the all-wheel-drive version. For an additional charge, the crossover is offered with the ProPILOT Assist 2.0 semi-autonomous driving system.
The Nissan electric crossover will be offered in several versions. The basic front-wheel-drive version has a 215 hp engine and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and reach 160 km/h.
The top-of-the-line all-wheel-drive Nissan Ariya has two motors with a total output of 389 hp: it accelerates to 100 in 5.1 seconds and reaches 200 km/h.
For the 2021 Nissan Ariya, you can choose a battery with a capacity of 63 or 87 kWh. In the latter case, the driving range will be about 500 km.
